In some cases, Windows may block the downloaded installer and prevent its execution. This can occur with different Windows versions. You can unblock the installer and make it executable. Also check that the digital signature of the installer is valid.

To prepare the installer for installation:

  1. Go to the folder where you downloaded the installer.

  2. Right-click the installer.

  3. Select Properties in the menu.

    The Properties dialog box opens.

  4. Go to the General tab.

    If the installer is blocked, there is a security notice at the bottom of the dialog box.

  5. Click Unblock to unblock the installer, if required.

  6. Go to the Digital Signatures tab.

  7. Select the signature by Tekla Corporation.

  8. Click Details.

  9. Check that the digital signature is valid.


    If the digital signature is not valid, dowload the latest installer from the Tekla BIMsight website.

  10. Click OK.

  11. Click OK in the Properties dialog box.
