Help needed in finding the bottle neck, slow cache building when opening for the first time

Hi, I have two work computers a desktop and laptop one. I have quite heavy IFC model that updates weekly. If I understood correctly when I open the new model for the first time it takes some time for Tekla BIMsight to build the cache. On my desktop the cache building takes around 4 minutes which is okay, whereas on the laptop it takes about an hour which is very slow. My laptop is an HP ZBook 15 G4 workstation, since it’s a laptop I expected it to be somewhat slower than desktop but not that slow since its quite a decent laptop otherwise. Could there be something that is limiting the performance of Tekla BIMsight when its building cache on the laptop? And in that case can I improve the cache building time on my laptop? Here is the hardware of my desktop and laptop: Desktop OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 CPU: Intel Core i7 6700 @ 3.40 GHz RAM: 16 Gt Dual-Channel Motherboard: ASUSTek Computer Inc. Z170-P Graphics: 4095MB NVIDIA Quadro K2200 Storage: 223 GB Kingston SHSS37A240G SCSI SSD Laptop OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7 7500U @ 2.70 GHz Ram: 8 Gt Single-channel Motherboard: HP 828C (U3E1) Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 620, 2048MB ATI AMD FirePro W4190M Storage: 238 GB Samsung MZVLW256HEHP-000H1 SSD
